working principle

The working principle of the ozone generator for water treatment is to use the principle of high voltage discharge to realize the process of converting oxygen into ozone. That is, a high-voltage alternating current is applied to the high-voltage electrode, with an insulator in the middle and a certain gap. Allow dry purified air or oxygen to pass through. When the high-voltage alternating current reaches a certain value, a purple glow discharge is produced, which excites the oxygen molecules or atoms of air or oxygen into ozone. Ozone first reacts with the lipid double bonds of the cell wall and cell membrane, and enters the cell through the cell wall and cell membrane. It acts on the outer layer of lipoproteins and the inner layer of lipopolysaccharide, changing the permeability of the inner cell membrane, causing the inner membrane to leak out, eventually leading to cell lysis and death.


Precautions for use

1. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipes of electricity, gas and water are connected correctly, and set a good grounding to improve the safety of use;

2. Install the ozone generator for water treatment in a dry and spacious place away from high-voltage lines, and ensure a certain space around it to facilitate heat dissipation and maintenance;

3. The capacity of the lines used meets the requirements to ensure the elimination of fire hazards;

4. In the process of ozone preparation, avoid open circuit caused by wet electrodes;

5. For the water-cooled ozone generator, the cooling water quality is better to prevent scaling and affect the heat dissipation effect;

6. For air-cooled ozone generators, the cooling air must be free of moisture, corrosiveness, aerosols, impurities, oily or conductive substances and visible dust;

7. Ozone is harmful to human body, and the allowable concentration in the atmosphere stipulated by the state is 0.2mg/m3. Therefore, if any leakage is found during use, it should be stopped and repaired immediately.
